CREWZA Terms and Conditions
Effective date: 17 September 2026
CREWZA | www.thecrewza.com
These Terms and Conditions (Terms) form an agreement between you and CREWZA (CREWZA, we, us or our). They apply to the CREWZA mobile application, website at www.thecrewza.com, and related services (together, the Platform). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to create an account, make a booking, offer services as a photographer, or use payment features. You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide is accurate and current.
2. Service Overview
CREWZA is a technology platform that helps customers discover photographers, review public profiles and portfolios, request bookings, communicate through the Platform, and make payments. CREWZA also provides tools for approved photographers to create profiles, manage availability, receive booking requests, and track payments. Photographers provide their services independently; they are not employees, agents, or partners of CREWZA.
3. Accounts and Guest Access
Visitors may browse selected Platform content as guests. An account is required to save professionals, send or accept a booking request, use protected chat, make or receive payments, access booking records, submit reviews, or use creator tools. We may use phone OTP, Google sign-in, or another permitted authentication method.
You must keep your login credentials secure and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorised use. We may suspend or close an account that is inaccurate, fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, or in breach of these Terms.
4. Photographer Onboarding and Verification
A photographer may apply through Become a Creator. CREWZA may require profile details, portfolio samples, pricing, identity verification, bank or UPI payout information, and other information reasonably needed to operate the Platform. Verification is not a guarantee of quality, availability, legality, identity beyond our checks, or future bookings. CREWZA may approve, reject, suspend, remove, or request updates to a creator profile at its discretion, subject to applicable law.
5. Booking Requests and Payments
A customer may submit a booking request with the relevant date, time, location, service details, and selected package. A request is not confirmed until the photographer accepts it through the Platform and payment is successfully processed. Prices, taxes, travel charges, platform fees, and any permitted add-ons will be shown before payment where applicable.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Where CREWZA offers an escrow or held-payment feature, the payment is held pending completion and the applicable release conditions described in the Platform. CREWZA is not a bank, wallet issuer, or payment service provider unless expressly stated otherwise.
6. Customer Rights and Responsibilities
- Review profiles, packages, pricing, ratings, and booking information before making a booking request.
- Provide accurate event details, safe and lawful access to the venue, and timely cooperation needed for the service.
- Use protected chat respectfully and do not misuse personal information or pressure a photographer to transact outside CREWZA.
- Promptly confirm delivery through the in-chat acknowledgement when work has been received, or raise a genuine issue through the Platform if there is a delivery-related problem.
7. Photographer Rights and Responsibilities
- Set accurate packages, availability, pricing, portfolio information, travel terms, and service inclusions.
- Provide services professionally, lawfully, and in accordance with the accepted booking details.
- Maintain the licences, permissions, equipment, insurance, tax registrations, and approvals required for your services.
- Do not post unlawful, infringing, misleading, obscene, or privacy-violating content. Obtain permission to use portfolio content and client images.
- Do not use the Platform to solicit off-platform payments or bypass applicable Platform fees for a booking initiated through CREWZA.
8. CREWZA Rights and Responsibilities
CREWZA may operate, improve, moderate, secure, suspend, and update the Platform. We may review public profiles, portfolios, booking records, chat reports, and other Platform activity for safety, fraud prevention, quality, policy compliance, or legal reasons. CREWZA may charge disclosed platform or promotional fees, including optional profile-boosting fees, where available.
9. Event Requirements and Safety
Customers must ensure that event locations are reasonably safe, lawful, accessible, and suitable for the agreed service. Photographers may refuse or leave a booking where conditions are unsafe, illegal, abusive, discriminatory, materially different from the booking, or reasonably likely to cause harm. Each party must comply with venue rules, local permissions, noise restrictions, and applicable laws.
10. Delivery of Work and Payment Release
Unless a booking expressly states otherwise, CREWZA does not host, store, edit, or deliver customer photo or video files. A photographer may deliver work by a third-party service such as Google Drive or provide it physically, as agreed with the customer. The customer may acknowledge delivery in protected chat by tapping Files Received. This acknowledgement authorises release of the held payment to the photographer, subject to any active dispute or applicable law.
If the customer believes delivery is incomplete, defective, or materially inconsistent with the accepted booking, the customer must raise an issue promptly through the Platform with relevant information. CREWZA may set a reasonable response period or an automatic release period in the Platform.
11. Refunds, Cancellations, and Disputes
Cancellation, refund, rescheduling, and dispute outcomes depend on the booking details, timing, service completion, evidence provided, and applicable law. Any specific refund policy shown at checkout or in the Platform forms part of the booking. CREWZA may facilitate communication and review available records, but does not guarantee any particular dispute outcome. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights.
12. Data Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is described in the CREWZA Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that we may process personal data as described there and as permitted by applicable law.
13. Third-Party Services
The Platform may use or link to third-party services, including payment processors, sign-in providers, map or location services, cloud-link providers, and communication tools. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices. CREWZA is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or acts and omissions, except where required by law.
14. Intellectual Property and Platform Rules
CREWZA and its content, branding, software, and Platform features are owned by or licensed to CREWZA. You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant CREWZA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and use that content as needed to operate, promote, protect, and improve the Platform. You must not copy, reverse engineer, interfere with, scrape, or misuse the Platform except as permitted by law.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CREWZA provides the Platform on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not guarantee that any professional, booking, event, payment outcome, file delivery, rating, or service will meet your expectations. CREWZA is not responsible for the independent acts, omissions, quality, conduct, safety, or legality of customers, photographers, venues, or third parties. Our liability will not exceed the amount paid by you to CREWZA for the relevant booking or Platform service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, except where law does not allow this limitation.
16. Force Majeure
Neither party is responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, public-health events, war, civil disturbance, government action, internet or power failure, venue closure, or transport disruption. The affected party should notify the other party promptly and use reasonable efforts to reduce the effect.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms and update the effective date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
18. Governing Law and Contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection law. For questions, contact supportcrewza@gmail.com or write to CREWZA, Chennai, India.
