This Privacy Policy explains how CREWZA (CREWZA, we, us or our) collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal data when you use the CREWZA mobile application, website at www.thecrewza.com, and related services (together, the Platform).
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated when you use the Platform, and information received from service providers where permitted by law. This may include:
- Account information, such as your name, phone number, email address, sign-in identifier, and profile photo.
- Customer booking information, such as event type, date, time, location, service preferences, messages, booking history, acknowledgements, reviews, and support requests.
- Creator information, such as public profile details, city, skills, equipment, portfolio content, packages, rates, availability, identity-verification information, and bank or UPI payout details.
- Payment-related information, such as transaction status, amount, and payment reference. Payment card or UPI credentials may be collected and processed directly by our payment providers rather than by CREWZA.
- Usage and device information, such as IP address, device type, operating system, app version, pages or features used, approximate location where enabled, and diagnostic logs.
CREWZA does not host or store the customer photo or video files delivered by a photographer. Where a photographer shares a third-party cloud link in chat, we may retain the chat message or link metadata as part of the booking record, but the files are controlled by the relevant third-party provider.
2. How We Use Information
We use personal data to operate the Platform; create and secure accounts; show relevant creators and services; process and manage booking requests; provide protected chat; process payments and payouts; verify creators; prevent fraud and abuse; provide support; enforce our terms; improve the Platform; comply with legal obligations; and send service-related messages. Where permitted and with appropriate choices, we may send marketing communications about CREWZA.
3. Sharing Information
We may share information as needed to provide the Platform:
- Between customers and photographers for an accepted or requested booking, using the minimum information reasonably needed for the service. Contact details may be masked or withheld until the Platform permits disclosure.
- With service providers including payment processors, identity-verification providers, hosting and security providers, communications providers, analytics providers, customer-support providers, and other service providers acting on our instructions.
- With authorities, courts, regulators, insurers, advisers, or other parties where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent fraud.
- In connection with a business transaction such as a merger, investment, sale, reorganisation, or transfer of business assets, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell personal data for money. We do not permit users to use another user's personal information for unsolicited marketing or unrelated purposes.
4. Security of Data
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal data, including access controls, encryption where appropriate, logging, and security monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You must protect your account credentials and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
